Ziauddin University organising An Interactive CME Seminar On “Management Of Polycystic Ovaries Syndrome” at seminar room-ground floor Dr. Ziauddin Hospital North Campus.

First OBE Based Board of Studies(BOS) for BS Software Engineering was held on Friday, 10th November, 2017.
The meeting was chaired by Dr. Munaf Rashid, Chairperson Software Engineering. Experts from industry and academics has approved program with full confidence, also they put some suggestions to improve curriculum, and how to produce graduates with skills, and knowledge and hands-on.Following are members of the first BOS Software Engineering.

Seminar on Career opportunities for BM Engineers was held on Wednesday, 1st-Nov, 2017 in Ziauddin University-Faculty of Engineering, Science and Technology.

Department of Pediatrics organising CME workshop on’Breast Feeding Management’ at seminar room, dept of Pediatrics, clifton

An interactive Seminar on Artificial Intelligence, Mobile Apps Development, and AI applications in Biomedical technology was organized by on Tuesday, 24th October, 2017. The speakers had described their past projects,current projects and future workings.

Ziauddin University organising An Interactive CME Session On “Rheumatology” at seminar room-ground floor Dr. Ziauddin Hospital North Campus.

“We see humanity in professions like nursing, and today is the day to celebrate it, so we all are celebrating humanity, Dear nurses go out and serve society, it’s your day,” said Mehtab Akbar Rashidi, Member Standing Committee on Primary Health, Government of Sindh. She was speaking at Ziauddin University to mark the International Nurses & Midwives Day, and 197th birthday of Florence Nightingale.

The event was organized by the Ziauddin College of Nursing to highlight the current health issues and to show many way nurses serve communities. Addressing the event as Chief Guest Mehtab Akbar Rashidi talked about the rights of women and said, “Women have every right to proud themselves, you can deny everything but woman is a woman, you can’t deny this.”

While talking about Nurses & Midwives, Dr. Rozina Karmaliani, Professor, School of Nursing, Aga Khan University, the keynote speaker at the ceremony, said that “The Wealth of nation depends on our health and health of our nation depends on nursing and midwifery, it is our profession and we are proud of it.” She also discussed about sustainable development goals, universality, integration and transformation. She motivated nurses by saying “you all are playing role of a mother to this nation, so consider yourselves as a full partner for patients”

Prof Dr Pirzada Qasim, Vice Chancellor Ziauddin University said that nursing college is the oldest entity associated with Ziauddin University. Nurses are indication of change, and they are trained for this particular area. This day gives us motivation; to train more nurses with latest technologies, we have to make Pakistan a knowledge base society for the whole world.

On this occasion, students of College of Nursing took oath and presented lamp lighting ceremony to pay tribute to Florence Nightingale on her 197th birthday. Earlier, a poster competition was organized to create awareness and highlight role of nurses in the society.

Ziauddin University organising “6th SKILLS AND DRILLS WORKSHOP IN OBSTETRICS” at skills lab Ziauddin hospital Clifton.

Ziauddin University Faculty of Engineering, Science & Technology had participated in MagnifiScience Exhibition-2017 which was held at Dawood Public School, Karachi during 6-8 Oct, 2017.
The faculty and the Students had actively participated.
Final Year Projects, Rehabailtion Lab, was part of the activities of the event from ZUFEST && ICU Room Demonstration by Hospital Staff of Ziauddin Hospital.
